Правила доменов .TO
The .to is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) of Tonga, an island kingdom. Although introduced in the year 1995, .to domain names were first sold to individuals in June 1997.
The .to registration is also used for numerous sites that aren't associated with Tonga. Since 'to' is used as nickname for the city of Toronto in Canada, the .to extension is also used in Toronto even though Canada has its own .ca TLD. The sponsoring organization for .to registration is the Government of the Kingdom of Tonga and it sells domains to anyone who is interested.
The .to registration is managed by TONIC (Tonga Network Information Center), a company that provides name service to government, commercial, and personal Internet sites. The registration services are available at http://www.tonic.to and applicants can register second level as well as third level domains. Domain names for Tongan schools (.edu.to) and businesses registered in Tonga are absolutely free. It is important to ensure that domains registered are used only in a legal manner.
Tonic has reserved a number of trade marked names. All names other than the reserved ones are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The period of initial registration is from 2 years to 100 years.
For security reasons you will be given two passwords, one to change your domain information and the other to edit your DNS information.
The registrar does not have a dispute resolution process for .to registration |
