Правила доменов .TH
The .th domain extension, introduced in the year 1988, is the web domain extension for Thailand. The Internet domains of all entities associated with the country Thailand end with .th. Under the sponsorship of the Asian Institute of Technology, THNIC (Thailand Network Information Centre) manages and controls the registration of domain names under the .th root. Any individual is entitled to apply for a third level domain name under .th. All domain name applications are accepted in a chronological order.
Within the .th domain extension, the domain name registry manages the sub domains such as:
- .co.th — for commercial entities
- .ac.th — for academic institutions
- .in.th — for any kind of organization or individual
- .net.th — for Internet providers
- .go.th — for government bodies
- .mi.th — for the use of the military
- .or.th — for non-profit organizations
In order to register or hold a .th domain name, registrants are asked to agree with the rules and policies set by the registry. For example: to get a .co.th registration, it is necessary that the company or organization must be registered under Thai Law. In addition, it is mandatory to produce one of the following documents: Company Limited / Limited Partnership's Certification Paper, Overseas Commercial Permission Document, VAT Modification Request Paper, Company Limited / Limited Partnership's Registration Document or VAT Registration Document for confirmation.
The .th domain names can contain the English-language letters A through Z, and the numerals 0 through 9. Special characters such as the
hyphen (-) are also allowed, but hyphens cannot begin or end your domain name. The domain name must be at least two characters long.
THNIC also offers the facility to modify or delete the domain name. |
